This week on WWE Monday Night RAW, WWE United States Champion AJ Styles was scheduled to defend his title against Humberto Carrillo but the OC attacked the challenger. Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Ricochet demanded a title shot and competed in a fatal-four way match to earn one. Mysterio won that match and immediately faced Styles for his championship. After a competitive match, the interference of Orton helped Mysterio win the match and the title.

Both men showcased why they’re two of the greatest superstars on the WWE roster. Karl Anderson tripped Mysterio and the referee ejected the OC from ringside. Mysterio got a near fall after a modified bulldog. Styles dropped him with a neckbreaker for another near fall. Mysterio hit a 619 but the referee was knocked down in the process. The OC returned to ringside and attacked Mysterio but Orton fought them off. Mysterio hit another 619, Orton hit Styles with an RKo and a Frog Splash earned Mysterio the victory.
