New WWE Funko POPs, Mattel WWE WrestlingShop UK Event Coverage, Netflix The Toys That Made Us Wrestling Episode (Photos)

Funko revealed brand-new up and coming WWE Funko POPs that almost broke the internet due to the fact The Fiend was one of them! Not to mention Mattel revealed some new action figures over at the WrestlingShop UK event this weekend! Plus Netflix released an episode about the history of wrestling toys and action figures!

New WWE Funko POPs

The set includes:

  • Diesel with Kevin Nash nWo Chase variant
  • Naomi with Glow-in-the-Dark Chase variant
  • The Miz
  • John Cena (Thuganomics)
  • Mean Gene Okerlund

As well as these two store exclusives:

  • The Fiend (Amazon)
  • Hulk Hogan (Walmart)

You can currently pre-order The Fiend on Amazon, but do it quick as he sold out once already but seems to be back in stock. Look for the others over on Ringside Collectibles in the future as these are expected to release in February 2020.

WrestlingShop UK Event

Bill Miekina from Mattel revealed several new WWE action figures today at this annual event overseas. This event gives UK collectors the opportunity to see new products much like Americans get to see several times of the year.

Of what was revealed, these are the new figures and lineups that have been confirmed so far:

  • Ronda Rousey with Chase variant (Series 105)

Netflix The Toys That Made Us Wrestling Episode

On the newest season of The Toys That Made Us on Netflix, a nostalgic show about popular toy lines from the past and present, there is an episode focusing on how professional wrestling action figures came about, featuring many collectors, wrestlers and key people from the toy industry over the years.
