NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: Lio Rush (c) vs. Angel Garza
Garza offers Rush a handshake. Garza tries to slap Rush. Rush and Garza play cat and mouse. Garza rolls out of the ring and hops the barricade. Garza rips off his pants in front of Rush’s family. Rush suicide dives onto Garza. Rush kicks Garza. Garza falls out of the ring. Rush tries a dive but Garza turns it into a power slam out on the floor. Garza brings Rush back into the ring. Slingshot gourd buster by Garza. After the break, handspring elbow by Rush. Rush and Garza trade strikes. Garza tries the Wing Clipper but Rush escapes. Rush tries his springboard stunner but Garza counters with a dropkick to the back of Rush’s head. Garza misses a springboard moonsault.
Rush hits a spinning kill switch for a near fall. Rush climbs up top. Garza cuts Rush off. Garza hits a moonsault power slam off the top! Rush kicks out! Garza stomps out Rush. Rush responds with a Spanish fly. Rush hits the come up. Rush tries it again but Garza reveres it into the Wing Clipper! Rush somehow kicks out. Garza carries Rush up to the top rope for an avalanche Wing Clipper. Rush and Garza trade headbutts on the top rope. Rush launches Garza off the top with a ranna. Rush hits the Final Hour! Garza kicks out! Rush hits another Final Hour. Garza’s foot is on the rope. The referee doesn’t see it, so he counts to three.
Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion, Lio Rush!
