Ric Flair Says He’s Cleared For Action Ahead Of Crown Jewel

On the premiere episode of After The Bell with Corey Graves, Ric Flair was one of four guests, taking the interview just before heading to Saudi Arabia to cheer his team on to victory against Team Hogan. Ric stated that he admires Ali and Roman Reigns from Hulk Hogan’s team, but the roster thins out after that. Then, the Nature Boy dropped an interesting fact that could come into play at the event.

“I’ve been cleared, I’ve got a medical release. Never, ever forget who the dirtiest player in the game is, man. I’ll be equipped, and I’ll be ready.”

Flair didn’t explicitly say he’d be involved physically at tomorrow’s show but noted that he’d be ready “for any kind of action” he might see.

Ric isn’t scheduled to wrestle but leads Team Flair into battle against Team [Hulk] Hogan, both legends serving as ringside representatives for their respective teams.

Flair prefaced his comments on After The Bell by saying it was a secret that he was cleared, but it’s worth noting that he told Steve Austin in December 2018 that he was cleared to take ring bumps again.

“I have to be careful after surgery, the second surgery, for hernia issues. But I literally took it easy. I didn’t do anything. And now I’m full speed ahead. The guys have cleared me to do anything. I’ve actually been cleared to get knocked down in the ring. I didn’t know if they were going to use me in some capacity and you know the clearances you have to have with the health policy, which is so adamant.”

Does this mean that Ric will try to get involved at Crown Jewel? Is Hogan also hiding some sort of ability to stop the Nature Boy from cheating to win? You’ll need to tune in this Thursday to find out all the answers.
