After The Undisputed Era revealed that they had delivered a brutal assault on Velveteen Dream during Wednesday’s episode of NXT, William Regal announced that a match between Keith Lee and Donovan Dijakovic would determine who the number one contender for a NXT North American Championship match next week.

Unfortunately for Strong, that match is now a triple threat match, and its due to his own interference. During the match between Lee and Dijakovic – which was quickly turning into a great battle – Strong jumped into the ring towards the end, attacking both competitors and forcing the match to end in a disqualification.
Nice try, *sunshine*. ?

As Strong celebrated his clever tactic, Regal quickly made his way out, announcing that next week, the NXT North American Championship would be decided in a triple threat match. Now, Strong has a much harder route to defending his title, so it’ll be interesting to see just how he handles the pressure.
