It looks like Maria Manic might be NXT bound.
The female wrestler is perhaps best known for her appearances in Ring of Honor, and her six-month deal with the promotion recently expired. As reported by Fightful and Squared Circle Sirens, Manic is currently in Orlando, Florida, for a WWE tryout at the WWE Performance Center. ROH unsuccessfully (so far at least) tried to sign Manic to a longer deal but the two sides were unable to come to an agreement. In an odd quirk, she actually never wrestled a match inside the promotion.
WWE recently signed Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux as they continue to stack their women’s division.
