Hulkamania is ready to run wild all over Saudi Arabia this October.
The following video features The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan in a localized ad campaign promoting this year’s WWE Crown Jewel event, set for October 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to the spot, “Superstars from the past and present” will be featured on the show, including Undertaker and Hogan, who were on last year’s show as well. The Undertaker and Kane teamed up against Shawn Michaels and Triple H, while Hogan was featured as the host of the event.
According to WWE’s Arabic website, the following names are also being advertised for the event:
Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Mansoor and Ric Flair.
According to the site, “further details on the offer’s promotion and regional broadcasting information will be announced in the coming weeks.”
PWInsider.com first reported WWE would host the 2019 edition of the Crown Jewel event on October 31. The show will be held at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; WWE has not formally announced the event’s return yet domestically. WWE hosted one other event in Saudi Arabia this year, WWE Super ShowDown on June 7, which was headlined by The Undertaker vs. Goldberg.
WWE Crown Jewel is just one of the events included in the 10-year agreement between WWE and Saudi Arabia’s General Sport Authority; the first event in the series was WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah last April.
