A documentary on independent wrestling star Joey Ryan, “This Is Wrestling: The Joey Ryan Story,” will be making its UK premiere at the Central Scotland Documentary Festival.

CENTRAL SCOTLAND DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL

The full programme for the 2019 Central Scotland Documentary Festival is officially live and showcases a breadth of exciting documentaries and events from near and far. Grahame Reid, Head Curator of the Festival, is looking forward to building on the successes of past years, with another inspiring programme that includes the UK Premiere of This is Wrestling: The Joey Ryan Story – a documentary that goes behind the scenes and below the belt for the viral life of Joey Ryan, one of the most colourful characters in wrestlings explosive transformation.

‘The conversation at Central Scotland Documentary Festival continues into 2019 with screenings and events covering a whole host of topics for people to sink their teeth into. We are also continuing our pay-what-you-can pricing structure to make the Festival affordable to as many people as possible.
