Backstage, Strowman walks into Rollins lockerroom. Rollins is happy that Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to moderate the Universal Championship contract signing. Strowman thinks they are trying to set him up. Rollins tells Strowman he is worried about the wrong thing.
Backstage, before the referee can announce WWE Management’s decision Corbin interrupts and demands Joe and Ricochet be eliminated. The referee announces that both Joe and Ricochet have advanced and will face Corbin in a triple threat match.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio thanks his son for pushing him to continue his dreams. Mysterio says he isn’t done… yet. Mysterio is doing this for his son.
The Miz vs. Cesaro
As soon as the bell rings Cesaro blasts Miz with a roaring European uppercut. Miz rolls out of the ring. Cesaro hits another on the outside. Cesaro gets a two count. Miz lands a few strikes but Cesaro floors him with another uppercut. Cesaro deadlift superplexes Miz from the outside in for another near fall. Miz escapes a back suplex and lands a DDT. Cesaro kicks out. Miz backs Cesaro into the corner. Miz hits a few running knees before running right into the Swiss death uppercut. Cesaro tries to swing Miz. Miz almost reverses it into the figure-four. Cesaro kicks Miz away. Cesaro almost pins Miz with his hand on the rope. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
