The Packaging

The packaging for each set features the typical slick white style with the featured figures in a large bubble followed by images on the back showcasing who all is in the set. These do not come with accessories if you’re new to this series but they will have series again starting in 2020, which is awesome.

Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles

This set is pretty nice if you don’t have Basic figures of them already as both of them have quite a few. They both look great though as their attires are pretty detailed, not to mention AJ features his best head scan to date as it looks just like him.

AJ features some details on his gloves as well as his chest tattoo, elbow pad logo, tight logos and kick pad logos, which is great. Daniel features his latest smiling scan, which is pretty good, as well as his detailed trunks and kick pads.

Overall, if you’re a fan of both guys I recommend picking it up otherwise they’re very similar to some of their latest figures. Regardless, they are nice looking Basics and will go great to any collection.

The IICONICS

This is easily the most sought after set in this series since it’s the very first figures of both Bille Kay and Peyton Royce. Billie was supposed to be in the NXT Basic series awhile ago but was cancelled.

Billie looks excellent as her likeness is spot on. She has a pretty detailed attire as well, both on her front and back. She has ball-jointed legs like all the female figures do, but lacks chest and ankle joints since Mattel changed the female articulation. The detail on her back is quite interesting as it’s a faint black over a patterned strap, giving it a lace-type look. Her attire overall is quite detailed, which is nice.

Peyton looks pretty good. I’m not sure if I like her head scan. I can kind of see her likeness but something seems off to me. Peyton, too, has a super detailed attire that looks great. She also features the same articulation as Billie, which limits her posability somewhat.

Overall, this set is is nice and will be highly sought after until the two of them get other figures. Hopefully they will get Elites so we can pose them better and maybe they’d come with tag titles, too? One can wish, right?

The Usos

The Usos look like their past figures, just shirtless and a new colored pair of pants and shoes. These fealls are in an all-white attire this time around and are shirtless. You can see all the detail in their tattoos, which is nice. Their pants also have a lot of detail, such as the many wrinkles and other designs in them. They also feature their latest head scans as seen on their most recent Elite figures from Elite 64, which are ok but not the best in my opinion.

Overall, if you want the Usos in another color scheme then this set will satisfy you, otherwise it’s not the most exciting Battle Pack.

Overall

Overall this series is pretty good. The best set is The IICONICS obviously as everyone will want them being it’s their first figures. They look decent as well. The Daniel Bryan/AJ Styles set is nice, too. The Usos are ok, not their best figures, but if you’re a fan of them you’ll enjoy this set.
