Interesting Note Regarding AEW Getting Collegiate For TNT Shows
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer noted in the 8/21 edition of the WON that after AEW’s debut episode on TNT, all the rest of the episodes currently booked are taking place on or near college campuses. The Boston show will take place at the Agganis Arena, the Liacouras Center is a part of Temple University in Philadelphia, The Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh is on Pitt campus and The Charleston Civic Center has Charleston University nearby, along with West Virgina University being a two hour drive to Morgantown and Marshall University only 45 minutes away (h/t to Funner With Gunner Entertainment for West Virginia geography).
