At the most recent set of NXT tapings, the Street Profits lost their NXT Tag Titles to the Undisputed Era. Considering that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have already been appearing in backstage segments on RAW, many assumed that the pair would be transitioning over to the main roster after this change.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that might not be the case. Despite losing the titles, the Street Profits will remain on NXT as competitors while also continuing their non-wrestling segments on RAW. With Johnny Gargano also announcing at the same tapings that he’s staying on the black and yellow brand, it seems that WWE is keeping NXT stacked to help them go against AEW this October.
