MLW Tag Team Champion Richard Holliday is set to face off with Brian Pillman Jr. at GO Professional Wrestling’s debut event, GO Big Or GO Home, next month.
After teasing a “mystery opponent” last week, Wrestlezone has been informed that Pillman was signed on as Holliday’s opponent for the September 28 event in Wayne, New Jersey. Holliday’s original opponent, Pat Buck, recently signed with WWE as an agent and was no longer available to compete at the show.
Pillman and Holliday are very familiar with each other as they both compete for MLW; Holliday and MJF (aka The Dynasty) recently defeated Pillman and Teddy Hart for the MLW World Tag Team Championship in a ladder match at Kings Of Colosseum. The two have also been trading shots on social media as of late, including Holliday ripping on Pillman for losing to nZo at Northeast Wrestling’s Prison Break event on Friday night.
Yea, because he’s a loser. https://t.co/P4mVimrLhe
