On SmackDown this past week, Roman Reigns could have been seriously injured when some steel beams fell on top of him. After an intensive investigation, WWE has concluded that the incident was a forklift-related accident. On Sunday, Reigns himself shared a similar viewpoint.
At this time I think the #SDLive incident was a mistake by the crew, which I love and respect. I respect the machine and the team that builds it and I understand mistakes happen.

In a tweet, Reigns called the incident “a mistake,” and said that he respects the SmackDown LIVE crew. Thankfully, after the beams fell on him, Reigns, unharmed, walked away from the scene. At this time, the identity of the forklift driver remains unknown. Plenty of fans and analysts have speculated that the driver could wind up being Reigns’ opponent at SummerSlam but nothing has been publicly confirmed at this time.
