Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer gave further details regarding Finn Balor and the illness he’s going through that caused him to miss WWE Smackville.
According to Meltzer, Balor missed the event because he was hospitalized with the stomach flu. This led to Finn Balor being replaced by Ali in the Intercontinental Title match against Shinsuke Nakamura. PWInsider first reported that Finn Balor was going through the illness when WWE initially reported that he had an injury.
