WWE Superstars Lead Antibullying Rally In Florida

Earlier this week, a handful of WWE superstars took the time out of their schedule to hang out at the Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dude County, where they led the WWE Be a STAR antibullying rally. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Xavier Woods and Big E were on hand for the event, as well as Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Speaking to the media ahead of the rally (via the Miami Herald) the New Day spoke about how important it was for the group to become role models to kids who may have gone through things that they did as children. “We’re in an interesting position because as being personalities on television, we’re automatically thrust into the role of being a role model, it’s something we take very seriously.”

Fifty boys and girls – aged 11-17 – were at the rally, with each superstar splitting into groups with the children in an effort to speak in a more intimate setting. The groups took part in activities, discussed various issues, and even performed some skits themed around antibullying to close out the show.
