WWE Cancels Live Event Scheduled For Friday

The WWE had a live event scheduled for their Summer Slam Heatwave house show tour at the Four States & Fair Rodeo in Texarkana, TX this Friday, but the venue revealed via it’s Facebook Page that the show has been cancelled.

The WWE Event scheduled for July 26th has been cancelled. Please note that if you paid for your tickets via credit card the amount will be refunded to you within the next 14 days. if you paid cash you can return to the box office after noon today to receive your refund. You must bring in your tickets and have a valid ID to receive your refund. Thank you!

The Texarkana Gazette also had a brief write-up regarding the cancellation including what talent was scheduled to be at the event:

The WWE SummerSlam Heatwave Tour event scheduled for Friday at the Four States Fairgrounds has been canceled, according to a Facebook post by the Four States Fair & Rodeo.

Refunds will be given to those who purchased tickets. No reason was given for the cancellation. However, the previous WWE event scheduled in Texarkana was canceled because of poor ticket sales, according to a spokesman for WWE.

Friday’s WWE event was slated to feature Raw Superstars like Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin, Becky Lynch, Lacey Evens, Braun Strowman, A.J. Styles and others. Tickets started at $15.
