While sitting down with Max Scoville and Sydnee Goodman at IGN’s Comic-Con booth, R-Truth had to prove that he was a fighting 24/7 Champion. After explaining his history with the championship against Drake Maverick and other WWE stars, Truth explained that he prowled the convention floor in a penguin costume.
After mentioning the weather, The Hurricane appeared and attempted to take the championship after Truth mistook him for a fan. Truth kicked out at two and continued the interview as the Hurricane ran off and spouted a catchphrase. As he recovered, Drake Maverick also attempted a roll-up, and then Truth departed the interview. Drake Maverick complained that Truth was ruining his life and then ran after the champion.
