Josiah Williams recently sat down with Scott Hall while “The Lone Wolf” was in attendance at the WWE Performance Center to help show the guys and gals the ropes of the squared circle. In the brief conversation, Hall talks what he likes about being able to help the younger talent, what the most important aspect is about having a career in wrestling and who at the PC has caught “The Bad Guy’s” eye. Quotes are below:
Scott Hall on what brought him to the WWE PC and what he gets out of helping younger talent:
“I come down here every time I get invited. I love this facility. I mean state of the art facility and you got a bunch of young, hungry guys. I feel like a vampire, I like being around the young guys. I suck the youth out of them.
“I’m right where I want to be in my career. I remember a lot of old-timers helping me when I was coming up and I feel like that’s what makes our business goes round and round. The guys who know kind of help the guys who don’t know. I feel like I know, and [laughs] I’m here to prove it.”
On what’s the most important aspect he tries to instill in today’s wrestlers:
“I try to remind guys that although there’s a lot of serious traveling and a lot of hard work that goes into everything that we doe is at the core it’s gotta be fun and if you’re not loving it and you’re not having fun, then the audience doesn’t have fun. I feel like you gotta love this, this is a tough lifestyle choice. You’re on the road forever entertaining other people’s kids while your kids are at home and stuff and it’s a lot of sacrifice so if you’re not having fun then you’re in the wrong business.”
