Netflix’s GLOW Nominated For Five Emmy Awards, Including Best Supporting Actress Nod

This year’s Emmy nominations list has been revealed, and Netflix’s women’s wrestling series GLOW has been nominated for five awards in total, including a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Betty Gilpin.

The five nominations for the series are in the following categories:

Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series

Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Comedy Series Or Variety Program

The nominations are for GLOW’s second season, including the episodes “The Good Twin” (the show-within-a-show episode featuring the song ‘Don’t Kidnap’) and the season finale “Every Potato Has A Receipt.”

Wrestlezone previously reviewed season two of the series, calling it an “improvement on the first season by finding a nice balance between humor and action”, and praised the show for improving on the formula in every way, as well as taking big chances that ultimately pay off.
