Defy Wrestling has announced today that Brian Cage has been forced to pull out of the upcoming DEFY | SUPER 8XGP event that is currently scheduled for July 26 and July 27 due to injury. While no information on the exact injury was given, Cage will not be able to make the event, and hopefully the superstar isn’t to hurt moving forward.
In the same announcement, Defy Wrestling also announced that All Elite Wrestling’s Christopher Daniels has been named as the replacement for Cage. Daniels will be taking on SCHAFF and entering the Super 8XGP, so while fans will unfortunately not be able to see Cage perform, Daniels will likely put on an incredible show for the fans in his place.
