WWE made four big announcements for this week’s episode of SmackDown, including the reveal of who knocked on Aleister Black’s door, a Tag Team Championship Summit and two big singles matches.
WWE initially confirmed Finn Balor versus Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler versus Kevin Owens will take place on this week’s show, then revealed Black’s opponent would be announced as well as the summit between The New Day, Heavy Machinery, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan.
WWE announced the matches and both segments on social media. This week’s WWE SmackDown Live taping takes place at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Summit
SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan’s mission to have the Tag Team division take centerstage on Team Blue will enter its next phase this Tuesday night, when the first-ever SmackDown Tag Team Championship Summit takes place.
Bryan & Rowan, The New Day and Heavy Machinery, the three teams that will square off for the titles at WWE Extreme Rules, will all be present. Will tensions rise just five nights before the major Triple Threat title match?
