Cody Rhodes & MJF’s AAA Debut Match Changed Due To ‘Political Issues’

Cody Rhodes and MJF will still be making their AAA debuts at their next television taping in Aguascalientes but it will no longer be against Taurus and Brian Cage. According to the Wrestling Observer, Cage was kept off of the match due to “political issues.” He will be replaced by Daga instead.

This all comes after Rhodes’ appearance at Rey de Reyes, where Cody was attacked by Taurus. Nothing is certain yet, but it’s possible that this leads to a match at Triplemania XXVII. Meanwhile, Cage is set to defend his IMPACT World Championship this weekend against Michael Elgin at Slammiversary.
