Seth Rollins Apologizes To Will Ospreay For ‘Bank Account’ Dig, Stands Firm About WWE Being The Best Company

Seth Rollins has apologized for some of the things he said to Will Ospreay in their social media battle last week, but hasn’t backed off on believing WWE is the best wrestling company on the planet.

Rollins posted the following on his Twitter account, saying he was sorry to Ospreay after he started comparing paychecks to Ospreay’s after their ‘Little Guy’ feud erupted last week.

After a few days to sit on it, I’d like to apologize to for the tweet I sent his way about comparing bank accounts. It was dumb of me & not in line with my values. The moment I pressed the send button I knew it was trash, but I’m too stubborn for my own good.

I stand firm in my sentiments that is the best pro wrestling on the planet and that I’m the best of the best doing it right now. After a helluva week of travel, our crew didn’t waver for a second. Top level humans busting their asses for the love of the game.

I couldn’t be more proud to be a champion with this company and represent and the entire industry in the way it deserves. No more garbage tweets. I can and will be better.

The whole kerfuffle started when Rollins initially said you wouldn’t find anyone alive that could compete on his level, praising the efforts of the WWE roster after the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view. Ospreay responded with ‘I’m alive’, then Rollins then called Ricochet a ‘better version’ of Ospreay that was already on the WWE roster. It was off to the races from there, which each one trying to outdo each other with the verbal barbs, even including commentary from Chris Jericho (playing devil’s advocate) and Baron Corbin.
