Backstage, in an interview, Salina de la Renta brags about the ratings of MLW Fusion while she was the executive producer. She similarly boats about her control over MLW.
Bocchini previews MLW Kings of Colosseum and announces it will include the Star Spangled Hammer Challenge and a live edition of the Jim Cornette Experience with Salina de la Renta.
In a taped segment, Mance Warner talks about the Fourth of July and says he won’t let Salina de la Renta control him. He says there will be fireworks when he finally gets his hands on Salina’s allies.
Tom Lawlor vs. Josef Samael
Lawlor charges the ring and the two men start brawling and exchanging strikes. A video screen shows Salina de la Renta watching the match. Samael and Lawlor trade chops. The brawl spills out of the ring and Lawlor tosses Samael into the barricade. Samael returns the favor and takes Lawlor down by tossing him into the ropes. The representative of CONTRA Unit temporarily grounds Lawlor and yanks his hair when the champion tries to fight back. Samael drops Lawlor with a clothesline and continues to dominate him. Lawlor dead lifts Samael and suplexes him. Backstage, the Von Erichs brawl with Fatu and Gotch.
Lawlor dodges a blow from the spike and tosses the referee aside. The match ends because the referee disqualifies Lawlor.
Winner: Josef Samael
The brawl between the two duoes continue backstage while Lawlor and Samael continue to fight as the show goes off the air.
