Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting in his latest Observer Newsletter that AEW’s new weekly show will ignite on TNT in early October of this year.
According to Meltzer, the start date for All Elite Wrestling rolling onto network television looks to be October 2. Considering the company has filed for a trademark on the name Wednesday Night Dynamite, that day of the week looks like the likely evening to host the festivities, Meltzer reports. This has been the favorite day for months and Meltzer states that there are still meetings going down in regards to television, battle strategies and more from TNT’s side of things. The likely time slot slated for the suspected Wednesday show is 8-10 PM.
Meltzer later follows up in the Newsletter with a status update on the television disappearance of Lio Rush. From the creative side of the coin, nobody talks about him and he’s someone that isn’t being used whatsoever even though he’s still under contract. Rush has removed any mention of WWE in his social media accounts and has put up an address for taking dates.
