ESPN will be adding a new WWE related category to their annual ESPYS awards ceremony this year. The following moments have been nominated for the inaugural award:
- Roman Reigns returns to WWE RAW after battling Leukemia
- Becky Lynch wins both WWE Women’s Championship Title at Wrestlemania 35
- Kofi Kingston wins 1st WWE Heavyweight Championship Title at Wrestlemania 35
- Ronda Rousey wins 1st RAW Women’s Championship Title
Fans can vote at this link. The ESPYS celebrate the past year in sports for individual and team achievements, as well as their showcase awards: the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and the Pat Tillman Award for Service. The ESPYS were launched in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano; this year’s ceremony is hosted by Tracy Morgan air will air on July 10 at 8 pm / 7 pm central on ABC.
