Former WWE Star Brodus Clay Accused Of Sexual Harassment By ‘Un-PC’ Co-Host Britt McHenry (Updated)

UPDATE: Fox News has sent Wrestlezone the following statement:

While we are not at liberty to discuss the details of any employee matter, we follow strict protocols when matters such as these are brought to our attention, and we make no exceptions. The process works because of the extensive systems and measures we have instituted. This situation was independently investigated and we consider the matter resolved. We respect the confidentiality of all involved.

Former WWE star Brodus Clay (aka IMPACT Wrestling star Tyrus) has been kicked off of his Fox Nation show “Un-PC” after accusations of sexual harassment. These come from his co-host Britt McHenry, who complained to Fox News management about receiving lewd and unwanted text messages from the wrestler turned television host on multiple occasions.

According to The Daily Beast, Tyrus (born George Murdoch) has been moved to hosting his own show called “Nuffsaid.” The outlet also reports that two Fox News co-workers said that Tyrus is well-known for making politically incorrect jokes and that he has “a wild sense of humor, if we’re being generous” and that McHenry’s complaints were not surprising to colleagues of the two hosts.

We’ve reached out to the parties involved for comment on this situation but have yet to receive a response. The Daily Beast also reported requests to both McHenry and Murdoch have gone unanswered, and a FOX News spokesperson declined to provide a statement. It’s worth noting that the article mentioned The Hollywood Reporter’s Jeremy Barr reached out to Tyrus last week before the allegations were reported. He sent Tyrus a direct message on Twitter asking if there was an incident that led to the on-air changes, and Tyrus replied with ‘No comment and don’t message me again’ before blocking Barr on the app.
