After cashing in on the opportunity and taking down Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank, Bayley has been making sure to participate in a variety of matches to showcase what kind of champion she is.
During tonight’s SmackDown Live, Bayley and Lacey Evans – who was participating thanks to WWE’s Wild Card rule – participated in a match with Flair next to the ring. The match showcased why both women were both incredible superstars, as they both went back-and-forth in their attempt to take each other down.
Unfortunately for Evans, it was Batley who was able to get the upper hand, as she survived enough attempts from Evans to knock her out of the ring and deliver a vicious clothesline. After tossing Evans back into the ring, Batley then turned and landed a hard hit on Flair. While Flair chased Bayley back into the ring, where she was wrapped up by Evans. With the referee distracted, however, Bayley was able to counter the pin and roll Evans up for a victory.
After the match, Evans attempted to attack Flair in the ring for costing her the match, but Flair quickly dispatched Evans with a devastating kick to the head. With Bayley watching on in joy, both Flair and Evans were left angrily staring each other down.
