Samoa Joe Ready To Reclaim United States Title, Claim Filed Against WWE-Related Trademark

Samoa Joe Ready To Reclaim United States Title

On last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, commentators Corey Graves, Michael Cole, and Renee Young announced United States Champion Rey Mysterio will be relinquishing his title. Mysterio defeated Samoa Joe for the belt at the Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV).

The match was cut short, however, and Mysterio suffered an injury during the bout. In the middle of Mysterio’s relinquishment announcement, Samoa Joe interrupted, and warned he’s ready to reclaim what’s rightfully his.

Claim Filed Against WWE-Related Trademark

The process has begun of filing an opposition against Starrcast registering “Dead Man Talking” from being trademarked. However, the opposition is not coming from WWE. Instead, Audio Boom, who hosts a non-wrestling podcast titled “Dead Man Talking,” has requested a 30-day extension to file an opposition, per PWInsider.

They now have until July 20 to do so. Should WWE want to file an opposition, they have until June 20 to do so, or to file for an extension.
