Sasha Banks Reportedly Working On WWE Video Game Project

According to reports from PWInsider, Sasha Banks is working on something WWE related. She hasn’t yet decided to step back into the ring in real life, but we will at least see “The Boss” in action in this years edition of WWE 2K. Banks was seen away from home in the New York area, with one source stating that she was working on material for this year’s video games.

Sasha has been gone from WWE TV since losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics. Sasha and tag team partner Bayley were said to cause a scene before and after the show, with Sasha now sitting out after wanting to quit the company. Bayley has been drafted to SmackDown away from her partner since then, winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank.

WWE Returns to China in September

In an announcement on WWE.com, the company announced a return trip to mainline China late in 2019. This is the fourth year in a row that WWE will run shows in Shanghai. Taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Saturday, September 21, the show advertises Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Charlotte Flair, Asuka and many more. It also will feature Xia Li and Boa, both Chinese nationals who are training in the WWE Performance Center.

Triple H had this to say about the return trip:

We are excited to once again bring WWE’s larger-than-life Superstars to our passionate fans in China. With our WWE scouts in Shanghai seeing dozens of Chinese athletes and performers at casting calls, I am looking forward to the day when one of these people will reach the top and appear alongside global WWE Superstars such as Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
