Over the weekend, Rey Mysterio captured the WWE United States Championship. He defeated Samoa Joe in their match at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view (PPV). However, it looks like Mysterio was banged up during the bout. PWInsider reports that “The Master Of The 619” suffered a separated shoulder during his match with Joe.
He was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, likely to be examined and get his injury diagnosed. WWE has since teased that the future of the WWE United States Championship will be determined on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW:
