IMPACT Wrestling Reportedly Looking For Better TV Home In The Fall

IMPACT Wrestling is reportedly looking for a new television home due to ongoing issues with their current network, Pursuit Channel.

According to a report by PWInsider.com, IMPACT Wrestling is hoping to find a new, better home on television in the Fall, citing a number of issues that have the company frustrated. This week’s episode of IMPACT featuring Rich Swann and Michael Elgin in the main event ended prematurely, as the Pursuit Channel went to commercial and kept running commercials, never returning to the broadcast. It’s unclear what exactly caused the show to be cut off early, but IMPACT did apologize for the error and added the full show to their IMPACT+ app immediately.

We apologize to Pursuit viewers who were not able to watch last night’s @MichaelElgin25 vs @GottaGetSwann main event due to a technical issue.

We’re making this episode available immediately to US users on @IMPACTPlusApp.

This was said to be “the latest in a long line of headaches” when it comes to Pursuit, who is owned by the promotion’s parent company, Anthem. Other issues cited in the report included Pursuit being slow to respond to IMPACT’s requests, and listing the two hour show as four separate 30 minute episodes.

It’s also worth noting Konnan recently addressed rumors of a new TV home for IMPACT on his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, saying the company is looking at a better network. Konnan said:

“We’ve got IMPACT on Fridays on Pursuit, and live on Twitch. I know from what I’m hearing, they’re going to probably be going to a better network, which is going to be awesome.”
