Scarlett Bordeaux has reportedly requested her release from IMPACT Wrestling, according to a new report by PWInsider.com
There was talk of Scarlett’s status at last night ICW event in Queens, NY, saying the ‘Smokeshow’ had requested her release from her contract with the company sometime last week. It is still unclear if her release will be granted, but Scarlett’s current contract is believed to run through this summer. Scarlett’s request comes after the news that Killer Kross had requested his own release from IMPACT Wrestling last week.
It is believed that Scarlett is on a pay per appearance deal, with no guaranteed minimum amount of dates. The terms of this contract are similar to the contracts we reported last week that saw talent making anywhere from $250-400 per appearance, and as little as $3000-5000 for the year with IMPACT. This amount did not include their independent bookings, and the amount was before taxes and expenses. It was said that these multi-year contracts saw some talent losing money. It was said last week that IMPACT officials are not going to be granting any releases at this time and expect talent to honor their existing contracts.
