In a brief update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it seems that mixed martial arts organization Bellator has some interest in bringing in current 205 Live talent Jack Gallagher. The organization has previously worked with WWE talent, including Jake Hager and Bobby Lashley. However, both of those talents went to Bellator when they were outside of WWE. Bobby Lashley is still under contract and may take time off soon for his next Bellator fight.
It’s not known whether WWE would be willing to spare Jack Gallagher for mixed martial arts fights, or if they’d be interested in possible cross-promotional opportunities. 205 isn’t on the top of WWE’s priorities, and their roster is full enough that Jack would be able to take time off, but WWE has held many on their roster close with the recent rise of AEW. We’ll have to see if any further updates come of this talk between the two companies.
