What’s In A Name?
The newly formed tag team of former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka and former NXT titleholder Kairi Sane now have a name. As announced on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, which was taped in London England, the duo will now go by the name of the “Kabuki Warriors.” The new moniker was announced by their manager, Paige.
If you’re curious about the name, Kabuki is a classical Japanese form of theater. Elaborate makeup (not unlike Asuka’s mask and attire) and dance numbers are a mainstay of the art. As advertised, the duo took on Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on tonight’s episode. They wound up victorious over Paige’s former Absolution teammates.

Post-Show Dark Match Results
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the dark match after tonight’s SmackDown and 205 Live TV tapings in London. The match was made after the SmackDown tapings ended, as the four fought during the Kevin Owens Show segment that was taped earlier.
As seen in the videos below, the final moments of the match saw Woods splash Owens through a table, followed by Zayn getting hit with Trouble In Paradise, with Kofi making the pin:
