Mars Wrigley has chimed in on Lars Sullivan’s past filled with homophobic and racist comments. After becoming aware of the issue, which Sullivan has since apologized for, responded via email with a statement that they find them “abhorrent.” As such, they’re reaching out to WWE in order to make sure their working relationship stays in tact as they don’t share his values.
The Mars Wrigley Confectionery wrote the following:
We learned of Lars Sullivan’s comments recently and share in your shock and disgust. As a values-based company, we find his behavior abhorrent and unacceptable. We have engaged the WWE to discuss this situation and seek to understand what actions they will take to swiftly address this matter.
