Lars Sullivan Issues Statement After Past Racist, Homophobic & Misogynistic Comments Resurface

Lars Sullivan‘s words have come back to haunt him and the WWE Superstar has issued an apology to the media through WWE. The following statement was sent to media outlets from WWE on behalf of  Sullivan (real name Dylan Miley):

“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”

The remarks that Sullivan is referring to are a series of statements made by him on the Bodybuilding.com forums from as early as six years ago, ranging from the years of 2007 to 2013 under two separate user names. These comments range from homophobic, to racist, to misogynistic. Some comments are also disparaging to current WWE talent such as Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and Daniel Bryan. He also takes jabs at people suffering from mental health issues and having to rely on prescription medication. Current WWE talent like Big E and Kalisto have both expressed their opinions on Sullivan’s past remarks.
