The former Dean Ambrose is keeping busy after leaving WWE. Not only is he fully returning to the Jon Moxley name on the independent circuit according to his new-old Twitter account, but he’s also making time to remember his roots. The former WWE Champion takes to the podium in the video below and recalls his formative years in the business.
Dean recounts how he didn’t like much of anything growing up, but he did like wrestling. “Cody treated me with respect, and more importantly than that, he took me seriously.” He stated that he went under Cody’s wing for several years and that Cody would put in the effort whenever Dean wanted to go the extra mile. Most humorously, Dean stated that he probably still owed Cody $2700 for his training, as he only ever made one payment during that time.
