Roman Reigns Overcomes Handicap Match, Takes Down B-Team

After being attacked last week by both Shane McMahon and Elias, Roman Reigns made his way out to the SmackDown Live ring this week to explain his motives behind attacking Vince McMahon during his SmackDown Live debut. According to Reigns, it didn’t matter who was in the ring, he just wanted to take down someone to prove to everyone that he’s still “the big dog,” and that SmackDown is now his yard.

Of course, the younger McMahon quickly made his way out to the ring, reminding Reigns of just who he took down, and how he ended up knocked down the last time he tried to prove anything. Reigns then challenged Shane to a fight, but McMahon declined, but sent out the B-Team to take on Roman in a handicap tag-team match. McMahon then piled onto the chaos, announcing that a “special guest referee enforcer” – revealed to be Elias – would be officiating the match.

As the match took place, it was clear that Reigns was at a disadvantage throughout. Thanks to the sheer skill of Reigns, however, he was able to somehow withstand an onslaught of attacks – that included Elias interfering and attacking Reigns – to come away with a victory. At the end of the match, Elias and the B-Team were left outside of the ring as Reigns once again proved that he was the biggest dog in the yard.
