During the main event of last Thursday’s NXT live event in Omaha, Nebraska, NXT official Tom Castor, unfortunately, broke his ankle but was able to somehow finish the match by continuing his duties and making the three count.
After being taken out of the ring and likely immediately brought to surgery, Castor has since taken to social media to thank the wrestling community for their support, and seems to be doing well. In the message, Castor thanked the WWE medical staff and ER staff at Nebraska Medicine for helping him heal up, and according to Castor, he looks forward to rehabbing and rejoining the NXT family whenever he can.
Of course, it will likely be some time before Castor is able to return to his duties as a referee, but thankfully he shouldn’t be hampered when it comes to long-term living, and he can instead focus on getting back to the ring.
