Ronda Rousey Says She Was Originally Set To Leave WWE In November, Talks Future Plans

Shortly after WrestleMania 35, various sites reported that Ronda Rousey was hurt in her match at WrestleMania and that she would be taking some time off to start a family. (Rousey’s desire to start a family had been known for a while.) In a YouTube video with her husband, Rousey discussed her injury and her time with the WWE.

Rousey said she originally planned to be with the WWE for a few months. “Initially, I wanted to wrestle from WrestleMania to November because we already wanted to start a family,” said Rousey. “And it just kinda snowballed. A small detour in my life became my entire life for a whole year and I completely fell in love with it.”

Rousey said she doesn’t want to make any promises about her future with the WWE because she doesn’t know how she’ll feel if she has a child.
