Silas Young Hints That CM Punk Possibly Returned To Pro Wrestling This Weekend

Silas Young’s Milwaukee Independent Wrestling (MKE) promotion ran an event called “The Last Knight” on Friday, April 19th in Milwaukee, WI. During one of the matches on the card featuring Ace Steel, who trained CM Punk, a masked figure ran into the ring and hit a GTS maneuver on Daryck St. Holmes. Many were led to believe that this masked man was CM Punk for a variety of reasons.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp indicated that this isn’t actually the first time that Punk has done this since leaving wrestling. He said “A trusted source contacted us and said that this actually isn’t the first time it’s happened. Apparently Punk appeared under a hood at some point before his falling out with Colt Cabana, which would have been during the Wrestling Road Diaries 3 filming. We’re told that it was dropped from the final cut after Punk and Cabana’s issues developed.” So what are some signs that this could have been Punk?

Firstly, Silas Young himself took to twitter to post the following tweets, cryptically making the word ‘PUNK’ appear in all capital letters.

Another potential hint that this could have been Punk is the fact that a picture was posted after the event of Punk sporting the exact same sweatshirt that was worn by the assailant at MKE.

While it’s very possible that it will never be revealed definitely that this was CM Punk, all signs point to this run-in being CM Punk. What do you think of the possibility that CM Punk could have been doing under the radar stuff like this for years? Comment below and let us know.
