David Starr took to Twitter earlier today to take some not so subtle shots at Ring Of Honor, wondering why he and Jay Lethal would still be fighting despite Lethal losing the Ring of Honor World Championship.
Dear @ringofhonor @WeAreSinclair,
Want to explain why you decided to lie to IPWA & the Israeli wrestling fans?
Regardless, the ???? fans will get everything I have when I face Jay, but maybe its time you should reconsider the “honor” part of your name. pic.twitter.com/S4CPGUn977

After Lethal lost the title to Matt Taven at the G1 Supercard, many assumed that the Lethal and Starr’s match would be changed, as it was initially meant to be for the Ring of Honor World Championship. However, it seems as if that isn’t the case, and Starr isn’t too happy about it. This comes just a month after Starr was asked to remove a promo that bashed the company about the match.
Starr’s message on Twitter was brief, with the wrestler asking the brand why it lied about taking Lethal out of the fight if he lost the belt. Despite the mishap, Starr promised the Israeli wrestling fans that when he and Lethal face off, they’ll still be getting a good show.
