WWE ‘Hopeful’ Sasha Banks Will Return For Money In The Bank

John Pollock of PostWrestling.com and Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer are reporting that Sasha Banks is scheduled to appear at the WWE Money In The Bank PPV. According to Pollock, WWE officials are “hopeful” that Banks will change her mind about leaving the company after she was told to take a couple weeks off when WrestleMania 35 concluded. We haven’t seen or heard from Sasha Banks since that Sunday and Pollock is also reiterating that her scheduled appearance at the upcoming PPV is not set in stone yet. Unlike Bayley, who is moving to SmackDown after the Superstar Shake-Up, the plan for Sasha is that she’ll remain a member of WWE RAW.

Splitting The Boss ‘N Hug Connection was also a reported bone of contention between Banks, Bayley and management  during Mania weekend as the duo had their heart set on establishing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships as the hot new belts, but that wasn’t apart of WWE’s plans as they moved forward with The IIconics capturing the titles.

There has been reported backstage displeasure from both Banks and Bayley during WrestleMania Sunday with Ryan Satin hearing from several sources that the two laid on the the floor expressing their unhappiness. In addition to that, Sasha has stopped following Vince McMahon and WWE on Twitter and she also canceled her post-WrestleMania appearance on The Wendy Williams show.
