It doesn’t matter how well a faction is doing, because there are always going to be rumours of a split somewhere down the line. Since Kofi Kingston captured the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 those talks have intensified for The New Day, but during a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Kofi ensured the WWE Universe that the group would be staying together for the foreseeable future.
“I don’t understand why people say that man [that New Day will break up]. We’ve said it since the beginning, the philosophy of The New Day has always been to lift your brother up. I think the stereotypical path to take for these factions is that when one of them has success, they go off on their own. That’s very typical. Everything that we do is atypical. From that aspect alone, it just won’t happen. Everything that we do we do together. We ain’t going nowhere!”
