PWInsider is reporting that the Road Dogg Brian James made the decision to resign from his lead writer position on the SmackDown brand.
According to PWInsider, multiple sources have said that James has had ongoing frustrations with script changesi made by Vince McMahon and it reached a “breaking point” this past Tuesday in Brooklyn for the SmackDown after WrestleMania.

There is no word as to who will be replacing James in his role as of yet and it is currently unknown if Road Dogg will take another role in the company. In addition to that, PWInsider states that the lead writer position is more of a formalitiy in today’s WWE landscape.
