As we noted this week, AJ Styles suffered an injury during his WrestleMania 35 match with Randy Orton on Sunday. Styles was forced to miss his scheduled WrestleMania AXXESS appearance as a result. Fans were offered full refunds along with a signed 8×10 of Styles that would be mailed to them, or the option to instead meet new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.
Now, in an update, PWInsider confirms that Styles is suffering from a hip injury. Styles is believed to have suffered the injury while hitting Orton with a flying forearm to the outside of the ring. He was then sent home on Monday and was slated to have been diagnosed yesterday. The report included that the diagnoses has not yet been confirmed. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
