Chris Jericho isn’t about perpetuating misinformation on title reigns, even if that misinformation comes from MMA’s biggest star.
Conor McGregor went on Twitter to congratulate Becky Lynch on becoming “WWE’s first Champ Champ” but that happens to not be the case as a fan was quick to point out Jericho’s 2001 Undisputed Championship win at Vengeance in which he defeated both The Rock and Steve Austin to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship. Conor McGregor went to dispute the argument, but then the AEW star chimed in to clear the air of any confusion before he called McGregor a mark and told UFC’s Champ Champ to move along. The whole interaction is below:

Thanks for the explanation of the rules Champ Champ. But Both belts were won under the same organization, on the same night. Now quit being a mark and move along, junior. https://t.co/2HYkmdAI5i
