Ronda Rousey dropped the RAW Women’s Championship tonight at WrestleMania 35. There was already plenty of speculation on her future, and now a reporter is saying that the main event performance was one of the last times we’ll see her in a “long, long time.”
“This is one of the last times you’re going to see Ronda Rousey in public life for a long, long time,” wrote veteran MMA and wrestling reporter Jeremy Botter, whose work has been published on CNN and Bleacher Report. “Enjoy it.”
Botter then clarified, “When I say ‘public life’ I mean it literally. She’s going to go off the grid soon and you will not see her for a long time, if ever.”
Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer previously wrote that the plan was for Rousey to start a family after WrestleMania 35.
